We have opened a Talking Shop in The Courtyard in Scotch Quarter where we plan to hold conversations with small groups of people exploring what makes a good life in Carrickfergus. We will use maps, photographs and stories to build up a shared picture of life in Carrickfergus as a foundation from which we can imagine our future together. We’ll use tools such as the International Futures Forum’s Three Horizons Framework to create a collective vision of the future. We’ll also use approaches, such as backcasting, to start planning how to create that future together.
