What a night for our return to Carrickfergus Town Hall to resume our events program!

We had amazing sounds from Dee and his bouzouki, tunes to make Gen Xers happy from Neil and Denise, modern classics from Ben Tosh and western melodies old and new from Highwayman Dan.

We wanted to create an intimate atmosphere but were really aware of the space we had to work with so we put alot of thought and effort into transforming the space with the resources we had. Using bistro tables in place of large banquet tables, and stage lighting on the floor in place of harsh ceiling lights; along with some little table and stage area decor, we felt like we really pulled it off. 

One audience member said, “ ‘it was lovely and intimate, you felt like you were drawn in and part of it”.

We were happy tired from our efforts and thoroughly relieved to be back at it with support from talented artists, a super audience and skilled event crew, caretakers and security team.

This wont be our last acoustic event – the talent and audience demand more!
